Therapy for adults navigating relationships, identity, and faith & life transitions
About Me
Hi, I’m David, an integrative counsellor, offering therapy online, based in London UK.
I’m passionate about creating a space where you can be real, reflect deeply, and explore what’s happening beneath the surface.
With a background in pastoral care, the arts, and community work, I’ve spent many years supporting people who often feel on the edges; those navigating identity, belonging, or creative and emotional burnout.
I work with creatives, deep thinkers, LGBTQIA+ clients, and anyone who’s ever felt out of place in religious or traditional spaces. I have extensive experience and training in diversity, difference, and cross-cultural work. As a cisgender white man and therapist, I recognise the importance of self-awareness and accountability; reflection on power and privilege is a fundamental part of my practice.
How I Work
Whatever you’re facing, I facilitate a non-judgemental space.
You’ll be met with empathy, honesty, and curiosity - and supported to understand yourself more fully.
Being an integrative counsellor means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT-informed models, tailored your individual needs and pace.
Areas I Often Work With
-
Creatives or professionals feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out
-
People navigating relationship patterns that keep causing pain
-
Those re-evaluating faith (faith deconstruction) or leaving religious communities, seeking a sense of identity beyond that world
-
Individuals exploring identity, meaning, or self-worth
I offer online therapy across the UK, and work with clients in London and beyond.

My qualifications and ethical responsibilities...
I am an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor (Level 4) based in London, offering confidential, relational, and down-to-earth support for adults seeking meaningful change. My approach draws from person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT-informed perspectives, allowing me to tailor the work to your individual needs rather than forcing you into a single way of working.
I began my training in 2021 and have completed my clinical training hours at an established London counselling service, working with a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression, racism and discrimination, relationship challenges, identity questions, burnout, grief, parenting and life transitions. Since then, I’ve continued my development through regular supervision, CPD, and a growing private practice where I have worked with clients both online and in-person.
Before qualifying as a therapist, I spent over a decade in roles centred around creative leadership, pastoral care, and community support, where I gained extensive experience working with people through complex emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. This background taught me how to listen closely, respond without judgement, and support people through long-term personal growth - skills that directly inform my work as a counsellor today.
I hold the following qualifications:
-
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
-
Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
-
Introduction to Counselling
-
BA (Hons) Media Production with English & Creative Writing
I am committed to practising ethically and responsibly. I attend monthly clinical supervision, follow professional guidelines, and invest in ongoing training to ensure my work remains safe, reflective, and effective.
Whether you’re seeking help with relationships, anxiety, self-esteem, work stress, or simply wanting space to understand yourself more deeply, I offer a steady, supportive place to explore what’s going on and move toward greater clarity and resilience.
